.Civilization.

Civilization -1.    an advanced state of human society, in which a high level of culture, science, industry, and government has been reached.2.    those people or nations that have reached such a state.3.    any type of culture, society, etc., of a specific place, time, or group: Greek civilization.4.    the act or process of civilizing or being civilized: Rome's civilization of barbaric tribes was admirable.5.    cultural refinement; refinement of thought and cultural appreciation: The letters of Madame de Sévigné reveal her wit and civilization.6.    cities or populated areas in general, as opposed to unpopulated or wilderness areas: The plane crashed in the jungle, hundreds of miles from civilization.7.    modern comforts and conveniences, as made possible by science and technology: After a week in the woods, without television or even running water, the campers looked forward to civilization again.

After several years of observation it has become apparent that our current 'state of being' collectivly as a Wester Society fails to achieve the definition of "Civilization".

Not only have we managed to prove evolution drastically incorrect (Survival of the fittest?) by dumbing down, and making our citizens fat lumps of crap; but we have also managed to sufficiently annihilate the wilderness where our very life support system lives and breaths; in a daily struggle against the mechanical clutches of our so called civilization. Animals, plants, the very air is being choked out of existence.

The Greeks would have collectively shit their pants; had they invented them at the time; as our fabled 'high tech' society runs entirely off deadly gases and poisonous products. We clear cut forests for profit; and have yet to realize that Civilization and all it's technological abilities and capacities could very well be the ticket OUT of the biological struggle.

Yet we choose to remain deeply embedded in it; and to declare a sort of suicidal war upon it.

We are unrelenting; unforgiving, and TOTALLY self absorbed as a society.

Crushing weaker people to push ourselves up; raping Mother Earth to keep ourselves comfortable.

Keep in mind; the general rule of thumb within our civilization is illusion, and the distraction from True Reality.

One might say we have been hijacked by some very nefarious evil magicians; performing a mass slight of hand.

These are the ruminations of a modern day thinker, in a modern day Rome.

Please pay close attention; that is; unless you have been pre-programmed to only see things for a few seconds at a time unless they are a brightly flashing video game (Fake reality) or something equally as real.

We are on a collective train ride into a blazing furnace; and the conductor (Government) just keeps ordering the train go faster; when it'd be just as easy to slow it down for a bit and build diverging tracks towards whatever the opposite of total annihilation is.

In fact; if one takes a look at the origins of Democracy they will clearly see The Government was administrative; and trusted each person to simply be and not cause problems. It was the alternative to the tyranical forces of the outside world such as Egypt, and Mesopotamia. Then some how it got tricked into allowing Ceasers into rule; and so forth.

Some how it simply survived the Dark Ages.

Some how we have simply survived the last couple hundred years pumping garbage into the atmosphere.

And for all we know; the fossil fuels we are collecting might be the lubracant for the tetonic plates, as the grease inside a giant machine allows the various components to glide effortlessly over each others surface.
