.The Modern Day Lucifer.

According to Wikipedia, and many biblical scholars of the non-conspiracy variety, agree that Lucifer and Satan are two very separate entities.

Now working off the principal that the story of the fallen angel is based off a pagan tale of Venus shining brightest in the morning sky, being quickly out shone by the Sun proper.

So then, with this in mind we can quickly see how Technology (Video games, movies, cars and so forth.) is the Venus of our time, trying to outshine the Sun of True Reality (Adventure, exploring, transporting ourselves through the physical world.); thus leaving one to wonder how long our society will ignore True Reality before True Reality finds us silly and wipes us out in favour of some advanced tribal people.

Lucifer can be your warning, or Lucifer can be your downfall.

On a completely other strain of thought; in the Old Testament, The Devil is identified as Lucifer; the Morning Star; Lucifer being the Latin word for Venus; then Jesus is also referred to as the Morning Star, and so on; both described as being 'cast down' or 'sent down' from Heaven; that Heaven is "above" but the "Kingdom of God" is "within"; while both are said to 'hold up the Governments' or 'hold the Governments on his shoulders'...

Go figure, eh...
