Hell.
I'm gonna post ANOTHER blog entry, RIGHT NOW; even though it's only a few minutes later from the last blog entry; just to establish with you; the critical thinking, vigilantly viewing audience; with your hawk like eyes keenly focused for any sign of weakness on the internet and those who post within it's hallowed halls; they who should contribute to the Collective Hallucination; so that you might rip them asunder and tear them to shreds; or hail them as a hero and lift them to heights unimaginable previously in their lives; the chaotic pace and tempo this blog will run off and on.
This is no 9-5 job land; some scheduled, timely updated thing; this is madness; this is Sparta.
...
So...
What do you think of that Grand Theft Auto?
Much of a fan of the sound tracks?
Some of the best sound tracks ever composed for video games right there.
The first two especially; very in depth custom sound tracks, I encourage you to look up the history of the GTA sound tracks as they have a surprising story; I only became aware of it because of trying to find out who the artist was who recorded the main theme song: "Joy Ride".
No I'm not going to tell you the goddamn story; you have to seek this out yourself; oh traveler of worlds and realms.
Anyway; Grand Theft Auto V has really done the series justice in my opinion; especially with The Lab FM; a custom built from the ground up station of original content; featuring a variety of artists I've never heard of, other than Alchemist and I think Tangerine Dream had something to do with it's production before he died there a while ago.
It's all culture; and I love to dissect and study culture; so there is prolly going to be more shit written about video games, mass media and other bullshit that art snobs like myself try to pretend don't matter; but obviously do; or they wouldn't be such a huge part of our society; and the very culture our bacterial growth as humans depends on for it's very existence and shaping.
Welcome to my blog; where we have no idea where we are going; we're just on our way.
The reason for the GTA sound track, the original, first Grand Theft Auto's especially so; is because of how deeply it reflects 'real culture' of the Western World; with a serious tone; while it's undertone is utterly ridiculous, over the top, exaggerated and frankly cartoonish; through this mixture it delivers a deep existential reflection on the Americanize life style of high paced consumerism, mindless materialism, and the stress of modern life's hectic bullshit day to day game of stealing eggs from one nest to fill up your own; while keeping other people out of your stash long enough for you to smoke some of those damn eggs.
With GTA V, the song Miracle Masterpiece goes so far as to feel like a song which is being self referential to how the development team felt about the PC release of GTA V; which I preordered months before it's release; because GTA is one of the few video games I really give a rat's ass about; I love the driving; seriously; I drive for hoooooours in that game, aimlessly, just listening to music and driving really well; just love it... Anyway... Miracle Masterpiece really feels like the artist singing it is representing Rockstar's feelings about what it has achieved with this newest offering; which is frankly; a fucking master piece; no joke; I'm an artist; I know a goddamn work of art when I see one; Grant Theft Auto V should be in a goddamn art museum running on a NASA super computer, just to eek out ever last juicy drop of it's glorious goodness.
So there you have it.
Chaotic tempo of blog, something about how I hate modern culture but have to accept it, and a short analysis of why the Grand Theft Auto sound tracks are better than anyone has really noticed...
That's what you can expect here...
In the future I will be more focused on topics for writing, and will have a more coherent form; but don't expect it to stick to one topic over multiple posts.
